About Woo Skincare + Cosmetics

From its origins, Woo Skincare + Cosmetics was founded to give women a personal, pampering and fun shopping environment for their makeup and skincare choices. With local ownership and in-store expertise, every experience at Woo is characterized by the “golden rule” that every customer leaves happy.

Woo Skincare + Cosmetics started in Nashville, TN in 1992 and founded by Woo Caroland. Woo began her career in the art galleries of New York, Sotheby’s, and the art department of Vanity Fair. Her eye for artful merchandising and a talent for recognizing emerging trends in beauty have made the original Woo Skincare + Cosmetics an overwhelming success, garnering attention from Lucky Magazine, Vogue, Town & Country, The Tennessean and more.

Woo Atlanta first opened in 2008, when Woo partnered with co-owner Linda Silber, a seasoned cosmetics executive whose talents have been lauded in her work with leading brands including Bobbi Brown, Clinique, Elizabeth Arden, Origins Natural Resources, and Prescriptives. Linda’s keen insight and understanding of the cosmetic industry have made Woo Atlanta a favorite go-to neighborhood boutique for the last seven years. Woo's been so successful in Atlanta, in fact, that a second location opened in West Paces Ferry in the spring of 2015. Atlanta Magazine name Woo Atlanta "Best Beauty Store" in its 2015 "Best of..." issue.

Woo Charlotte in the Myers Park community opened in 2013. Co-owned by Kara Campbell, a Charlotte-born and Carolina-raised businesswoman, Woo Charlotte has already garnered a loyal and enthusiastic following. Kara moved to New York City to pursue a career in cosmetics marketing and held positions at Clinique, where she was executive director of Clinique International Cosmetics Division, and at Chanel, where she led marketing for the brand’s skincare and cosmetics division Chanel Beaute. She returned to Charlotte in 2002.
